What is an MCP connection layer?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI chats call tools on external systems. An MCP connection layer like Wazone gives your AI chat authenticated, per-device access to your own VPS or computer — file editing, terminal commands and deployments — without an AI API key. Each device gets its own secure remote MCP server URL.
What is Wazone?
Wazone is a secure MCP connection layer. It connects your everyday AI chat to your own VPS, terminal, websites and development environment — so the AI can work directly on your infrastructure.
How do I connect ChatGPT (or any AI chat) to my VPS?
Install the Wazone CLI on your VPS (npm install -g wazone-mcp), run wazone login and wazone start, then add the device's MCP URL as a custom connector in your AI chat — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Codex or any AI provider that supports custom connectors (MCP). It takes about two minutes and no AI API key is needed.
Does Wazone provide an AI model?
No. Wazone is not an AI provider and does not include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok or any other model. Your AI models come from the AI chat experience you already use.
Do I need an AI API key?
No. Wazone does not sell AI API access. You keep using your existing AI chat account and interface.
Does Wazone replace ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Grok?
No. Wazone works with them. You keep your normal AI chat in the browser or on your phone — Wazone gives it a secure connection to your own infrastructure.
Can I use Wazone with my own VPS?
Yes. Install the Wazone CLI on your VPS, connect it to your account, and your AI chat gains MCP access to that machine.
Does Wazone only work with a VPS?
No. Wazone runs on any machine you own — macOS, Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch) and Windows, desktop or laptop, as well as VPS servers. Install the CLI, run wazone login, and that device gets its own secure MCP URL.
Can I use it from my phone?
Yes. Wazone is a connection layer on your AI chat, so if your AI chat works on your phone, you can interact with your infrastructure from there too.
Does Wazone store my AI chat history?
No. Wazone relays tool calls between your AI chat and your infrastructure. Your chat history stays with your AI provider.
What can I do with my VPS?
Read and modify project files, write code, debug applications, run terminal commands, deploy websites and apps and manage your projects.
Is database management available?
Not yet. Wazone focuses on files, terminals, deployments and project workflows. Database management tools are not currently available.
What happens after the 24-hour trial?
